Is the invoice issued with or without VAT?

We always invoice in accordance with the existing legal procedures described below:

Portugal and Spain

We invoice VAT at 23% to all customers in Portugal (individuals and companies).

We invoice with VAT at the legal rate due on articles and services for customers in the Azores and Madeira.

European Union

We invoice without VAT to business customers with a valid VIES in accordance with the legislation in force.

VIES = VAT Information Exchange System = Identification of the NIPC in the European register for VAT purposes.

Confirm that your NIPC/VAT is valid in https://ec.europa.eu/taxation_customs/vies/#/vat-validation

We invoice with VAT (23%) to all individual and business customers without a valid VIES.

Rest of the World

We invoice without VAT to customers outside the European Union upon presentation of a Portuguese customs export certificate, valid in Portugal.
